I recently launched my largest e-commerce project to date, Rough Edge Apparel.  This was a personal project for me and now a sub division of Visionary Edge.

I went a new direction with this site, abandoning my former shopping cart solution. I used a cart called Avactis that I discovered a while back and have been testing for some time now. I’ve found it quite easy to use and plan on using it going forward with other clients. In fact, I have 2 clients lined up right now that are planning on letting me implement the Avactis cart as their e-commerce solution.

As for the design of the site, I don’t plan on keeping it as is for too long.  I’m currently using one of the stock Avactis templates that I have heavily modified to meet my needs.  Once I get some additional content, mostly people modeling the products, I plan on making extensive visual changes.
